In Dallas, DARIA created a program called: American Girls Make Music. This fun workshop allowed the girls to see how their “foremothers” created music out of the simplest items and also carried on their family traditions through song and celebration. In creating this program, DARIA worked closely with The Museum of the American Woman, a unique organization that tells the story of how all women have contributed to American history and encourages girls to become a part of that proud tradition.
